Apple just unveiled three slick new iPhones, but even if you don't want to spend big on a top of the line device, this is good news. The iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE are sticking around, and are all getting healthy discounts.
Here's the new prices for every older iPhone still on sale.
- 32GB iPhone 7: $849
- 128GB iPhone 7: $999
- 32GB iPhone 7 Plus: $1,049
- 128GB iPhone 7 Plus: $1,199
- 32GB iPhone 6s: $699
- 128GB iPhone 6s: $849
- 32GB iPhone 6s Plus: $849
- 128GB iPhone 6s Plus: $999
- 32GB iPhone SE: $549
- 128GB iPhone SE: $699
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are no longer available in 256GB configurations, but you're now able to get the 32GB models in jet black if super shiny devices are your thing. Apple has however axed its limited edition red iPhone 7s.
When can I get a cheap iPhone 7?
While there's still a bit of wait until iPhone X goes on sale, the good news is that the iPhone 7 price cuts have already come into effect. If you want a discounted iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, or iPhone SE and are happy to buy outright directly through Apple (in store or online), you can get the cheaper pricing as of today.
It is however worth noting that while you can get these prices from Apple now, it can take some time for telcos to adjust their pricing when it comes to 24-month contracts. The same applies to other retailers such as JB Hi-Fi.
Vodafone is the first telco to cut prices on the older iPhones, and as per its new pricing structure, you're looking at the outright price divided over 12, 24, or 36 months.
For example, this means the 32GB iPhone 7 will now cost you $70.75 per month over 12 months, $35.37 per month over 24 months, or $23.58 per month over 36 months. This would have previously set you back $89.91, $44.95, or $29.97 over the same period. Click here to compare devices on Vodafone.
