How much data does 10 min of Google Maps use up?
It's estimated that you'll use about 6MB in data for 10 minutes of Google Maps usage. However, this is only an approximate number since there are a variety of factors--like amount of cached data, device, mapped location-- that will effect your data usage.
Because of this, it may be worth installing an app like Data Tracker that allows you to see exactly how much data you use per app.

Why is this important? Some mobile phone plans come with 100MB of monthly data which wouldn't give those of us who rely on our GPS navigation a lot of mobile data left over for other internetting tasks!
