If you're looking for a great value, super-fast NBN plan, MyRepublic is all about affordable, unlimited service.
The pro-speed company was the first Australian purpose-built NBN provider, and has designed plans specifically for customers who love streaming, gaming and downloading. MyRepublic offer a basic fast plan, with options for customers to build on their service with bundled-in extras.
Of course, if you're not yet in an NBN-serviced area, MyRepublic also provides ADSL2+ connections. But if it's NBN or bust, read on.
MyRepublic's base level NBN plan is priced at $59.99 per month on a 12-month contract. You'll get unlimited data, speeds up to 50Mbps, and pay-as-you-go VoIP calls.
There's no set-up fees on this plan, but you will pay a not-too-pricy $1.00 for the compatible MyRepublic WiFi Hub + Modem.
Deal alert: If you sign up before August 31, you can get MyRepublic's maximum NBN speeds - up to 100Mbps - for the same price as the 50Mbps plan. More info is available below, but you will need to be a residential customer in selected areas to qualify.
MyRepublic's August-only SuperFast promotion gives customers an unlimited, 100Mbps connection for the same $59.99 monthly price as the above 50Mbps option. Again, you'll get unlimited data, plus downloads up to 100Mbps and uploads up to 40Mbps, although you will need to commit to a 12-month contract.
The plan requires customers to pay $1.00 for a WiFi Hub + Modem, but otherwise there's no further setup costs. You'll also get pay-as-you-go voice calls, but customers can upgrade: unlimited landline calls are a further $10 per month, unlimited landline and mobile calls are priced at $20 monthly, or unlimited mobile, landline, and international calls (to 40 selected countries) are available for an extra $30 per month.
